Warren Beatty Did What Every Guy Does

I pull this move all the time on my wife and it really irks her!

Funniest thing I've ever seen. No, not that the Oscar was given to the wrong film. What's funny is how it all got there.

Warren Beatty's got the envelope. I was wondering how he got the envelope. Apparently, it's a pretty common thing for there to be two envelopes. Emma Stone kept hers along with her Oscar. That's what Val told me,

I think there are seriously two copies made of each envelope. We know Emma had the other."

Kate added,

She had her envelope. It has to do with staging and making sure there's envelopes (correctly or incorrectly) on either side of the stage the presenter might enter from."

So, Beatty gets the wrong envelope. He doesn't realize it until it's open and he's looking at it. Just like any guy, including me, looking at a set of instructions. Instructions, directions, whatever. He looks at it. Looks at Bonnie & Clyde co-star Faye Dunaway. He looks at it again. He hands the envelope to her, like I pass the instructions to my wife, with 'The Look.' Here, look at this. Read this and explain it to me because I don't understand it!

I usually get 'The Eye Roll.'
