What’s the Most Popular Soup in Rochester?
Soup season is finally here, and if you’re like me you like a giant bowl with a ton of crackers! Seriously, I love a ton of crackers with my soup. Have you ever ordered a bowl at a restaurant and they bring a package with two crackers in it?!?! What’s that about? Is that how normal people eat soup?!? I need a full sleeve!
My favorite is tomato soup. What’s yours? What’s the most popular soup in Rochester?
I’ve been serving soup for nearly ten years at Channel One’s Empty Bowls Event, and based on what I’ve seen, I can tell you without a doubt that the most popular in Rochester is Chicken Wild Rice. The CWR soup is always the most requested and always goes quick.
You can have a bowl of Chicken Wild Rice or sample other delicious flavors from some of Rochester’s best restaurants, at this year’s Empty Bowls Event, which is Thursday Oct. 12th at the Rochester Arts Center.
You’ll also get a hand painted bowl to take home as a memento.
