Where to Karaoke in Rochester?

Want something fun and different to do to with friends on a weeknight, or a weekend night? How about a little karaoke?

Doing a little investigating, I could not find very many places in Rochester that offer regular karaoke. Is it a thing of the past? I hope not!

If you do feel like singing, or just want to have a good time, here are a few places you can go to try to channel your inner Katy Perry, Meghan Trainor, Sam Smith, or Ed Sheeran!

In northwest Rochester, Boomers Lounge, located at 3737 40th AVE NW Rochester, MN 55901, offers karaoke every Wednesday night from 9:00 pm until 1:00 am.  Check out their website for more information.

Another hot spot for karaoke is the Viking Lounge Sports Bar & Grill, I remember going there years ago. They are located in the Clarion Inn hotel, at 1630 South Broadway.

According to their website, “New Large screen Plasma and LCD TVs, a
pool table, refreshing cocktails, and Karaoke are the hallmark of the Viking Lounge.”

Karaoke is every Wednesday-Saturday, 9 pm-close.
“Voted Best Karaoke Destination by Rochester Magazine.”

There are so many great karaoke songs to sing! One of my favorites is “Sitting on the Dock of the Bay,” by Otis Redding.
