Winona MN, KROC-AM News) - The Winona County Grand Jury has returned a 28 count indictment against seven people in connection with the murder of Adam Fort.

Two of the people named in the indictment, Lonnie Hudson and Reginald Burnett, are facing first-degree murder charges for the shooting death of the 31-year-old man during an apparent robbery in his Winona apartment on October 18th. Hudson, who was previously charged with second-degree murder in the case, is accused of being the person who actually fired the fatal shot, while Burnett allegedly went to the victim’s residence with Hudson.

18-year-old Kayla Clay is accused of being the getaway driver for Hudson and was indicted on a charge of aiding and abetting after-the-fact.

The indictment includes charges against four other people who were previously not charged in the case. 23-year-old Richard Deppe is facing an aiding and abetting after the fact charge and a drug count, while Cornelius Dunigan is charged with selling marijuana.

The indictment also contains charges against 2 other people, but they were not named and apparently have not been arrested yet.
