I  subscribe to the Merriam-Webster Word of the Day email. Sometimes I know the words, like this one that I've heard about political commentators...

firebrand --- one that creates unrest or strife (as in aggressively promoting a cause) : agitate

Other times, the words are totally new to me, like this one...

quidnunc --- a person who seeks to know all the latest news or gossip : busybody

However, as much as I love words, I equally dislike their word use examples. They're dull as used dishwater. And, with almost no extra work, they could make them SO more more interesting.

For example, the other day, the word was the opposite of regurgitate, and I created my own examples (first as Old Man River and then as The Beatles). Check 'em out...

Dear Merriam-Webster. If you're paying attention to this, please, hire me as your Word Examplerer. With me on board, the sky is the limit. THE LIMIT, JERRY!
