You've seen it all over: the Build-a-Bear "Pay Your Age" event did not go well. The word "chaos" is used quite a bit to describe how the event went around the country! They had to close lines and turn away many parents and children. USA Today says some parents stood in line for up to 6 hours!

Build-a-Bear is now trying to rectify the situation. They are offering parents a $15 voucher and they are "encouraging customers to take their time using the vouchers in order to 'enable us to better flow traffic to the stores over the next several weeks to avoid long lines and wait times as much as possible.'"

Here's how to get yours:

People that were waiting in line had to create a Build-a-Bear Bonus Club rewards account. They were handed a $15 voucher if they were turned away.

If you avoided the whole situation you can still get a $15 voucher.

First, you need to log in to your Build-a-Bear Bonus Club rewards account by midnight on July 15th. Then you'll have to print or take a screenshot of the voucher.

These vouchers are good through August 31st, valid for in-store purchase only, and only one voucher is allowed per Bonus Club account.
