What could be more fun than taking kids ice fishing right here in Rochester? The Lion’s Club annual Youth Ice Fishing Contest is Saturday (Feb 13) from 9am to 1pm at Foster Arends Park.

The contest is open to all youth age 15 years and under. Participants must be accompanied by an adult. Bait is provided and holes are pre-drilled. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd largest fish in each of three age groups. Plus door prizes will be given away every 20 minutes.

The cost to participate is an $8 donation to the Rochester ’76 Lion’s Club to benefit their Sight Preservation Projects.
