88% of Americans Are Stressed Out About Their Finances Right Now

Arguments online regarding inflation continue to compare and blame our current president to our past presidents or red vs. blue.  You can put the blame on whomever you want and make comparisons, but the reality is that 88% of Americans are stressed about their finances in 2026.  If that doesn't sound alarms, these next stats should.

According to Fox Business, 68% of Americans state that their income is not keeping up with expenses.

A poll published in The Washington Post shows that over 50% of Americans are financially stressed because they are only able to afford basic necessities.

While most of us love showing our support for local restaurants and we have heard the pleas from many that they need us to show up, YouGov shared that 66% of Americans are planning to cut back on eating out.
