Three new Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers restaurants are set to open soon here in Minnesota, including the first outside the Twin Cities. So is one of them here in southeast Minnesota?

If you're a fan of Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers, there is both good news and bad news from the restaurant chain. The good news is that there will soon be three more locations here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes-- including the first location outside the Twin Cities metro-- that will be opening and serving those famous chicken fingers and Texas Toast for which the chain is known.

The bad news... is that the location opening in greater Minnesota isn't here in Rochester, or anywhere in our neck of the woods-- instead, it's up in St. Cloud. Of course, that in itself isn't news. We'd heard earlier this spring that Raising Cane's was expanding in Minnesota.

But BringMeTheNews now reports that they've confirmed opening dates in October for Raising Cane's new restaurants, including sites on Snelling Avenue in Minneapolis and on 96th Avenue in Brooklyn Park as well as for the St. Cloud location on West Division Street.

The St. Cloud location is set to open in just a few weeks, on October 12th, BringMeTheNews says. The Minneapolis location is scheduled to open on October 19th while the Brooklyn Park location will open a week later on October 26th.

Even though there isn't a Raising Cane's location in our backyard here in Rochester, if you've got a craving, you can find them already up and running all over the Twin Cities metro, from the Raising Cane's #144 in Apple Valley to Raising Cane's #391 in Eagan, or maybe Raising Cane's #268 in West St. Paul or Raising Cane's #368 in Woodbury.

Speaking of new restaurants, the Mall of American announced last week that there are five new places opening this fall there too! Keep scrolling to check out what's coming to MOA in Bloomington later this year!
