Police are currently searching for a man who apparently stabbed a woman during a domestic situation early Tuesday morning and fled with their child.

A Star Tribune article says: Minneapolis Police Officers got the call around 5:50 a.m. When they arrived, they found a woman with a non-life-threatening stab wound in her leg and the child was gone.

Police believe a two-and-a-half-year-old child was taken by Hershel Theo Hulbert. He is described as a 5'9" thin, black male with short hair. Authorities say a second man, described as a 5'10" black male with braided hair, could have also been involved.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension issued an Amber Alert just after 8:00 a.m. this morning asking for the public's help in locating the two-and-a-half-year-old boy. The Amber Alert indicated that Hulbert might be traveling in a 1999 silver Dodge Durango with Minnesota license plate 628 MMM.

If you spot the vehicle or have any information, please contact law enforcement immediately.
