Falcon Heights, MN (KROC AM News) - There has been another deadly police-involved shooting in the Twin Cities.

It happened Wednesday night during an apparent traffic stop in Falcon Heights.

Media reports indicate 32-year-old Philando Castile was in a car with his girlfriend and her daughter, when they were pulled over for a broken tail light. Castile’s girlfriend says an officer asked him for his license and registration. She says Castile informed the officer he had a firearm and a conceal-and-carry permit. She says when Castile reached for his license, the officer shot him four times. Castile was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center where he died.

The shooting is now being investigated by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. This video was taken by Castile's girlfriend in the aftermath of the incident. WARNING: There is some graphic content and language in this footage.

Family members say Castile had been a longtime cafeteria supervisor at a Montessori school in the Twin Cities.

Dozens of protesters later showed up at the Governor’s Residence in St. Paul and many are still there. So far, there has been no response from Governor Dayton.
