What has happened to putt-putt golf, also known as miniature golf or mini golf, in Rochester and the surrounding area? I was just wondering the other day, where can you go to hit a little golf ball through tricky obstacles, without getting too frustrated and having fun in the process!

After, doing a little research, I found that the only place left in Rochester is Skyline Raceway. If you would like to play a round of mini golf, it will cost you $6.00 per 9-hole round, cash only. Visit the website, www.skylineracewayrochester.com for more information about specials and the hours of operation.

“Let the FUN begin, Go Karting, Mini-Golf, Gemstone Panning!”

You could also take a short drive to Owatonna, and visit Waters Edge Mini Golf or Adventure Greens Miniature Golf.  Another fun place to visit is Gator Greens Mini Golf, located in Lanesboro, MN.

If you happen to be in the Twin Cities area, you could check out miniature golf courses, listed on this website, www.twincities.com. (A very popular course, I saw featured on the show, “On the Road With Jason Davis,” called Big Stone Mini Golf, located just west of Minnetonka, MN, is unique because it is built around many handmade sculptures.)

If you are feeling up for a challenge, why not go out and try a little putt-putt golf today!
