Undated (KROC-AM News) - Residents in southeast Minnesota are being told to expect a full week of heat and humidity.

The National Weather Service says temperatures are expected to be in the upper 80s and low 90s all week. High dew points are expected to produce afternoon heat indices in the 90 - 100-degree range.

There will also be chances of showers and thunderstorms this week. Some of the storms could be strong to severe Monday night, especially north of Interstate 90.

The last time Rochester had a 90 degree day was Sept. 17th last year when the mercury climbed to 92 at the airport.
