Banham Earns Second Straight Big Ten Weekly Honor

Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News) - Minnesota Gopher standout Rachel Banham is the Big Ten Player of the Week in women’s basketball for a second straight week.

The senior guard from Lakeville tied the Big Ten single game scoring record on Sunday with 60 points in a double-overtime win over Northwestern. She also scored 24 points and had 5 rebounds and 4 assists against Rutgers.

Banham was also named the espnW National Player of the Week after averaging 42 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the pair of Gopher victories last week.

It was her fourth career conference Player of the Week Award..
