Basement Fire Damages Northeast Rochester Home

(KROC-AM News) - The Rochester Fire Department was called to a house fire around 7:00 p.m. Friday night in northeast Rochester.  

Trucks arrived to find heavy smoke coming out of the home on the 1400 block of 13th avenue. The fire was contained to the basement and damage estimates were put at around $20,000.

The occupants were able to get out of the house and were not injured. The cause is under investigation.
