Bet You Didn’t Know the Moon Is a Planet

Boy, if you can't trust a TV shopping network host, who CAN you trust?

Fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi is on QVC all the time hawking stuff.  And recently, he and his co-host were talking about a women's shirt, and she said the green pattern reminded her of what the Earth looks like from the moon.

Which was a dumb comment, because it didn't really look like the Earth at all.  But then things got way dumber when they got into a long debate about what the moon is . . . a PLANET, or a STAR.

Eventually, one of their producers told them the moon is actually a "natural satellite" . . . a.k.a., a MOON.
