
Body of Missing Worker Found at Minnesota Landfill
Elk River, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities are investigating after a body was found at a central Minnesota area landfill.

A news release issued by the Elk River Police Department on Thursday says officers responded to the property on the report of a missing employee on Wednesday morning.
Officers were told the person works for a trucking company and was delivering waste to the landfill.

Body of Trucking Employee Found at Elk River, MN Landfill, Authorities Investigating
The missing person report and subsequent body discovery happened at the Elk River Landfill at 22460 Hwy. 169.
Shortly after officers arrived, the trucking employee was found dead at the site, police say.
The person’s name has not been released. Although the investigation remains open, foul play is suspected, the news release says.
The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division, Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office and Occupational Safety and Health Administration are assisting Elk River police with the death investigation.
