Boy Gets Cool Star Wars 3-D Arm

If you're a Star Wars fan, you might recall when Luke had his arm cut off and it was replaced with a prosthetic. Recently a young boy in Augusta, Georgia got his very own special 'trooper' arm thanks to 3D printing.

Liam Porter got his new arm as part of an international effort to harness new technology to help those who need prosthetics they couldn’t otherwise get.  When Liam was presented with his new arm, characters from the Georgia 501st were there too, which made the day extra special. As one of the designers put it, Liam will now be the coolest kid in school.
