Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Byron woman was injured in a hit-and-run crash near St Marys Hospital.

The 37-year-old woman was making a left turn from 14th Ave onto 2nd St SW around 9:00 pm Tuesday when her car was hit by an eastbound vehicle whose driver ran a red light.

The woman was taken to the nearby ER for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The driver turned around after the crash and drove off.

Witnesses were able to help officers locate the vehicle and the suspected driver at a nearby apartment complex.

Police say the man - identified as 23-year-old Quinn Pribyl - admitted being the driver and was arrested. Police say he showed signs of impairment and a blood sample was taken.
