Caledonia High School has reclaimed the state football championship after a 40-0 win over Pipestone Area High School in the AA state final at TCF Bank Stadium. It was the seventh state championship for Caledonia, who won the AA title five times between 2007-2012.

The Warriors exploded for 26 points in the second quarter as they built a 33-0 halftime lead. Caledonia quarterback Owen King threw for 207 yards and four touchdowns and Sam Stemper rushed for 172 yards and two touchdowns as Caledonia racked up 394 yards of total offense. Colton Lampart was King's main target in the air, grabbing six catches for 122 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, the Warriors forced Pipestone into four turnovers, including three fumbles, and held them to 127 yards of total offense.
