Can A Divided America Heal?

There are a few things to know about me:  I like baking pies, all things Tom Hanks, and a good Ted Talks video.

The interesting thing about this video happened last night when I watched it with a group.  Some of the viewers found it to be a downer while and others (including me) were left feeling positive about it.  It helped me understand what is happening to us in the U.S. over the last decade or two, in addition to the election last week.

The guest, social psychologist Johnathan Haidt, discusses the thinking and causes of the sharp divisions in America.
