Channel One Food Bank Needs Your Vote

This is something that could be really, really big....but we need your help!

The Channel One Food Bank has been selected as one of seven finalists to receive a $500,000 grant from the Minnesota Twins organization.  The team has the contest tied into next month's Major League All Star Game, which is being hosted by the Twins this year.  The organization that collects the most votes will be awarded a half-million dollar grant.

Please vote for the Channel One Food Shelf by visiting the link helpingfeedpeople.org and encourage your friends and family to do the same.  If Channel One wins this huge contest it will make a great local impact.  Their proposal calls for a 20,000 square foot warehouse addition and a new kitchen and classroom that would be used to better serve and feed people in need.  You can vote once per day now through July 10th!
