Live country will be back in Rochester in a big way this fall when Chris Young brings his Famous Friends Tour to southeast Minnesota!

Quick Country 96.5 made the big announcement Monday morning that Chris Young is bringing his Famous Friends Tour to Mayo Civic Center this fall. In fact, the exact date is Friday, November 5th (so put a note in your phone!)  Joining Chris on this date will be guests Mitchell Tenpenny and Callista Clark.

Tickets start at $39.50 plus applicable fees and go on sale Friday, August 6th at 10:00 AM. Ticket will be available through ticketmaster.com, and the Mayo Civic Center box office. (There's also a fan club special pre-sale event that happens Tuesday.)

Isn't it great to have some incredible LIVE country concerts right here in our own backyard?!? And, we're not the only ones who are pumped to see Chris Young here in Rah-Rah-Rochester. He's pretty excited too:

"Everybody’s been asking me when’s the tour announce - well now you have your answer and I couldn’t be more excited about it," Chris laughed in a release. "I’m pumped to be able to share some of this new music on tour!"

Famous Friends, of course, is Chris's latest big hit, and it's also the name of his 8th studio album, which is also set to drop this Friday-- making August 6th a BIG day for Chris! Led by the multi-week chart-topping title track with Kane Brown, the 14-song project features several more of Chris’s famous friends, including collaborations with Lauren Alaina and Mitchell Tenpenny, plus background vocals from Sarah Buxton and Hillary Lindsey.

Plus, all week long, Quick Country 96.5 has your chance to WIN tickets to see Chris Young's Famous Friends Tour in Rochester BEFORE you can buy them too. Listen weekday mornings at 7:30 for your chance to play 'Famous Friends' (we'll give you a celebrity and you have to name their famous friend) for your shot at a pair of tickets!
