Minneapolis (KROC AM News) - A fire that broke out early Christmas Day at a downtown Minneapolis housing facility injured three people and displaced dozens of others.

The fire was reported at 3:00 AM at the Francis Drake Hotel, which serves as a site for temporary housing. The fire was reportedly concentrated on the second and third floors of the three-story building.

Red Cross spokeswoman Carrie Carlson-Guest says he organization is working to help those affected by the fire. She says anyone who wants to help the victims can donate online at redcross.org, by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS or by texting RED CROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
