Conan Pokes Fun At Brian Williams Situation

NBC news anchor Brian Williams has been under heavy criticism recently after making false statements about his helicopter being hit by enemy fire in Iraq in 2003. Williams apologized for those statements this week. He was also criticized for his claim of seeing a body float by his hotel room during Hurricane Katrina.

Conan O'Brien poked a little fun at the Williams controversy by showing more alleged false claims by the anchor.  (See above video).

On Saturday, Williams announced that he was taking himself off the air temporarily because it was apparent that he was becoming a distracting news story. Veteran journalist Lester Holt will fill in as anchor during Williams absence.
