Convicted Rochester Burglar Caught in the Act Again
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) – A convicted Rochester burglar who was released from prison Monday may soon be headed back.
Officers were called to the 600 block of 15th St SE Wednesday morning after a resident spotted a man who was going from house to house checking their front doors. Officers found him in the backyard of a home in the process of removing a window screen.
The man was identified as 37-year-old Sean Jacobson.
He told the officers he had been living at a nearby halfway house since getting out of prison. A police spokesman says Jacobson admitted he had been looking for a house to break into because he needed money to support his gambling addiction.
