Dalai Lama Celebrates In Minnesota

The Dalai Lama has observed Tibetan New Year celebrations outside India for the fist time since going into exile more than 50 years ago.  About 3,000 Tibetan-Americans from across the country packed an auditorium yesterday morning at Augsburg College in Minneapolis to celebrate the holiday with the Buddhist spiritual leader.  He spoke at Macalester College in St. Paul on Sunday afternoon.
