Family and friends of a 36-year-old Minneapolis woman are still searching for her, nearly 3 weeks after she was last heard from, and the circumstances around her disappearance have some people that are searching for her worried.

Tuesday, December 14th was the last time anyone heard from Jessica Marshik, a missing 36-year-old woman from Minneapolis, and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance have some closest to her very concerned, as Marshik's apartment door was reportedly ajar when someone went to check on her after not hearing from her.

Marshik, according to a page dedicated to finding her, is described as being:

5 feet tall
Slender/thin build
Medium length brown hair
Brown eyes and Jessica normally wear glasses.
Those closest to Marshik stated that "it is extremely out of character for her to not check in regularly with family and friends." Marshik was living alone in an apartment building with a secure front door at the time of her disappearance, and when someone went to check on her they found "her 2nd-floor apartment door unlocked and ajar, with all of her belongings left behind: her purse, wallet, phone, laptop, backpack, winter coat & boots (is always bundled up in winter)."
The search page also indicated that Jessica's car was also left behind and parked by her apartment building.
Her apartment is located in SE Minneapolis, in the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood, by Central Ave SE, University Ave SE, and E. Hennepin Ave. Jessica is known to have frequented area bars, restaurants, and stores on foot in her neighborhood.
If you have any information regarding Jessica or her whereabouts, please contact the Minneapolis Police Department at 612-673-5702 reference case number 21-289840.
This weekend volunteers will be passing out missing person flyers in the area of her apartment, and on January 14th there will be "a candlelight vigil outside Jessica's apartment building" to mark one month since she was last heard from.
