Downtown Minneapolis offers some pretty cool views and now one new hotel with incredible views of the Minneapolis skyline is making them available-- and you don't even have to stay there.

The views of downtown Minneapolis from the Hewing Hotel, located in the North Loop on Washington Avenue North, ARE pretty cool, offering a great look at Minnesota's biggest city.

The hotel itself has repurposed a much older building and changed it into something way more modern.

"The Hewing Hotel is uniquely tied to the rich history of Minneapolis... The historic building has been refined, but not stripped of its former life as a farm implement warehouse. Exposed timber and brick, tall ceilings and original industrial elements mix with high-end interiors to create an original and inviting experience," its site says.

And, among other things, its rooftop views of the Minneapolis skyline are pretty cool. But you'd probably have to book a room there (which can run you a fair amount, mind you-- heck, the 'Rochester Jr. Suite' is listed right now at $439 a night!) to enjoy the rooftop deck and pool, right?

Not so fast, my friend! According to the Hewing Hotel's Facebook page, they're now offering these incredible views from their rooftop even to non-guests, too. "Sit city-side for spectacular views, cocktails, and shareable plates - no cover charge required. Our sauna and spa pool will be accessible with a purchase of a $30 Day Pass," it said.

We stopped in for a drink with some friends at Tullibee, the Hewing Hotel's restaurant and bar, around a year ago and thought it was a pretty cool place-- and that was even before their rooftop was open. We'll definitely have to check this out next time we plan a night out in Minneapolis!
