
One Killed, One Injured in Semi-SUV Crash on Hwy. 2 in Northwestern Minnesota
East Grand Forks, MN (KROC-AM News)- One man was killed and another was injured in a northwestern Minnesota crash Thursday.

The State Patrol says two vehicles were involved in the fatality. So far limited information is available.
First responders were called to the scene of the deadly collision around 9 a.m.

67-Year-Old North Dakota Woman Killed in Crash With Semi at Minnesota Intersection
The deadly crash occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 2 and Polk County Rd. 17 in the Minnesota-North Dakota border town of East Grand Forks.
An SUV was traveling west on County Rd. 17 and a semi was heading north on Hwy. 2 when the vehicles then collided, according to the state crash report.

The State Patrol says the SUV driver lost her life in the crash. She is described as a 67-year-old woman from Grand Forks.
Officials plan to release her name and additional details by Friday afternoon.
27-year-old Tyler James Shaver of Red Lake Falls, MN was identified as the truck driver.
He suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital in Grand Forks for further care, the state crash report says.
Correction: A previous version of this story said the SUV driver was a man.
