Elgin Man Crashes Near Rochester; Alcohol Suspected
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - An Elgin man was hurt Tuesday after crashing a car north of Rochester.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 30-year-old Andrew Chilson was driving north on Highway 63 a mile north of 75th St when he crossed the centerline and nearly collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle. His car crossed the southbound lane and went into the ditch where it rolled. He was taken by ambulance to St Marys Hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening.
The State Patrol says alcohol was involved in the wreck that happened around 7:30 PM.
