Community Development Neighborhood Week

Are you building a home and wondering what to do with your backyard?
What is your experience like as walk to your favorite morning coffee spot?
Do you have comments around where grocery stores and businesses can be built?

If you answered yes or can relate to any of these questions, join the Community Development department for Neighborhood Week, a FREE family-friendly four-day event in a city park within each quadrant.

August 17 - Cascade Lake Park
August 18 - McQuillan Fields
August 19 - East Silver Lake Park
August 20 - Watson Complex
*All events will take place from 6-8pm

A local #RochMN food truck will be at each event, along with board and yard games inside the RNeighbors Building Blocks Neighborhood trailer, and an opportunity to learn and share feedback about important zoning and development changes that will impact everyone in Rochester.

Neighborhood Week is an effort on behalf of the Community Development department to listen to and engage with the community on principles within draft installment 2 of the Unified Development Code (UDC). This is a once in a generation project, so mark your calendars!
