Every Woman in Rochester Should Read This Book
I read the most incredible book on my trip. If you are friends with me on Snapchat or I have your phone number, chances are I already told you to read it. I thought it was THAT good! It has been years since I've read a book that literally fueled me, and made feel motivated, moved and empowered. I'm sure you've heard someone talk about this book, and I'm here to back all the great things they said about it. The rumors are true!
I want to be best friends with Rachel Hollis - she is the girl everyone needs in their lives. Her tough love attitude will get you over dang near any bridge you are trying to cross. Here's just one of the inspirational paragraphs to give you an idea of the book:
Know this one great truth: you are in control of your own life. You get one and only one chance to live, and life is passing you by. Stop beating yourself up, and dang it, stop letting others do it too. Stop accepting less than you deserve. Stop buying things you can’t afford to impress people you don’t even really like. Stop eating your feelings instead of working through them. Stop buying your kids’ love with food, or toys, or friendship because it’s easier than parenting. Stop abusing your body and your mind. Stop! Just get off the never-ending track. - Rachel Hollis
Don't want to read a book, but want to feel the power that is Rachel Hollis? Awesome news, there's an event coming to Marcus Wehrenberg Cinema in Rochester. You can check out Rachel Hollis: Made for More - Rachel will take the audience on an inside look at chasing the biggest of dreams with an inspirational one-night event. You can choose one of two days - August 2nd or 13th.
