
88-Year-Old Woman Killed in Crash That Shut Down Hwy. 43 Near Winona
The car was heading east on Brookview Dr. and the semi was northbound towards Winona on Hwy. 43 when the vehicles collided, according to the state crash report.
Winona, MN (KROC-AM News)- A crash that shut down a southeast Minnesota on Thursday afternoon claimed the life of an elderly woman.

Officials closed the highway shortly before 3 p.m. and reopened the road around 5:45 p.m.
The State Patrol indicates a semi truck and car were involved in the deadly crash. It happened at an intersection.

Winona Woman Killed in Crash with Semi on Hwy. 43 Near Winona
The car and semi collided at the intersection of Hwy. 43 and Brookview Dr., which is between Interstate 90 and Winona.
The car was heading east on Brookview Dr. and the semi was northbound towards Winona on Hwy. 43 when the vehicles collided, according to the state crash report.

88-year-old Ruth Ann Brockert Marshall of Winona was identified as the car driver. The State Patrol says she was taken to Winona Health where she died from her injuries.
40-year-old Jeffery Allen Warner of Tomah, WI was driving the semi. He was not injured in the deadly crash, the State Patrol says.
Both drivers were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the fatal collision, according to the state crash report.
The Winona County Sheriff’s Office, Winona Health, Winona Ambulance and Winona Fire Department also responded to the fatal crash.
