Fatal Southeast Minnesota Crash Claims Driver’s Life, Injures 2 Others-One Critically
Hastings, MN (KROC-AM News)- One person is dead and another is fighting for their life following a crash in southeast Minnesota Wednesday afternoon.

Two vehicles were involved in the deadly collision. The State Patrol responded to the scene of the fatality after 4:15 p.m.
The deadly crash occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 61 and 190th St., which is just south of Hastings.
Crash at Intersection Near Hastings, MN Claims Life of Burnsville Man & Injures Two Others, One Severely
A pick-up traveling south on Hwy. 61 collided with a car that was heading east on 190th St. when the car entered the intersection, according to the state crash report.
38-year-old Ramazan Ali Rahmani of Burnsville was identified as the car driver. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
29-year-old Mahdi Rahmani was the only passenger in the car. The Burnsville man was rushed to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with what are being described as life-threatening injuries.
42-year-old Theresa Yvonne Fredin of Cannon Falls was driving the truck. She was taken to Regions Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.
Alcohol was not involved in the fatal crash. Ramazan was wearing his seatbelt. It’s not known if Mahdi was buckled up and Fredin was not belted at the time of the fatality, the state crash report says.
The Dakota County Sheriff's Office, Hastings Police Department and Hastings Fire Department also responded to the scene.
