Fatal Crash Near Dodge Center

The State Patrol is assisting the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department with the investigation into a fatal traffic crash Tuesday afternoon near Dodge Center.

Officials say one person was killed and another was seriously injured when a car left the rural road and struck a tree just north of Dodge Center around 12:30 p.m. yesterday.  The driver of the vehicle was airlifted to St. Marys Hospital, while the passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.

The names of the victims have not been released.
