Head-On Rural Minnesota Crash Claims Two Lives, Severely Injures Driver
Taylors Falls, MN (KROC-AM News)- A crash along a rural Minnesota highway took two lives and severely injured a third person.

Two vehicles were involved in the fatality. It happened near the Minnesota-Wisconsin border shortly after 12:30 Monday afternoon.
The State Patrol responded to the deadly crash at the intersection of Hwy. 8 and Milltown Rd., which is just south of Taylors Falls.

A car was traveling east when it crossed the centerline and collided with an SUV head-on, according to the state crash report.
59-year-old Thomas Paul Collins of Amery, WI was identified as the car driver. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead from his injuries, according to the report.
The State Patrol identified 55-year-old Kim McCoy of Minneapolis as the other driver. She was brought to Regions hospital in St. Paul with life-threatening injuries.
61-year-old Kimberly Kay Brown was riding with McCoy. The Minneapolis woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the fatal collision, the State Patrol says.
All three of the vehicle occupants were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the state crash report says. Hwy. 8 was wet at the time of the fatal collision.
Correction: A previous version of this story said Collins was driving the SUV
