
State Patrol Identifies Minnesota Woman as Victim of Fiery Fatal Crash

Orr, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities have identified a Minnesota woman as the victim of a fiery fatal crash.

She was the only occupant of the only vehicle involved in the deadly crash. The State Patrol responded to the fatality shortly after 1:30 Monday morning in northern Minnesota.

Virgina, MN Woman Killed After Jeep Enters Opposite Lane, Strikes Rock Wall & Bursts into Flames
The fatal crash occurred on Hwy. 53 in Orr, which is about 45 miles north of Virginia, MN.
A Jeep traveling south on Hwy. 53 crossed over the centerline and entered the northbound lane.
It then entered the east ditch where it smashed into a rock wall, struck multiple trees and started on fire after it came to rest, the state crash report says.
40-year-old Amy Lynn Johnson was identified as the Jeep driver. The Virginia, MN woman was pronounced dead at the scene, the State Patrol says.
It’s not known if Johnson was buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the fiery fatality, the state crash report indicates.
