California Man Arrested After Fatal Stabbing at Rural Minnesota Bar
Windom, MN (KROC-AM News)- One man is dead and another in custody following a New Year’s Eve stabbing at a rural southern Minnesota bar.

A news release issued by the Windom Police Department says officers responded to the report of a possible stabbing around 11:47 p.m. Tuesday.
Authorities say two people were stabbed during the deadly incident. Officers assisted with treating the stab victims.
30-Year-Old Windom, MN Man Dies After New Year's Eve Bar Stabbing, California Man in Custody
The stabbing was reported at the Phat Pheasant Pub in Windom. Responding officers found a 30-year-old Windom man and 31-year-old Windom man suffering from stab wounds.
The 30-year-old man was taken to a hospital in Windom and was pronounced dead after life-saving measures. His name has not been released.
Police then located a 26-year-old San Diego, CA man, who witnesses said committed the violent act.
He was treated for minor injuries at a hospital then taken to the Cottonwood County Jail. His name has not yet been released.
Police say the investigation remains active and ongoing. Authorities plan to release more information at a later time.
