Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The two-week filing period for the November elections in Minnesota opens today.

While there will be no statewide races on the ballot this fall, every seat in the Minnesota House and Senate is up for election. In Rochester, voters will be casting ballots for four positions on the Rochester City Council, including the Councilmember at Large position. Sixth ward Councilmember Sandra Means has already announced she will not be seeking another term. Four seats on the Olmsted County Board will also appear on the ballot this year, along with three positions on the Rochester School Board. The filing periods ends the afternoon of May 31st.
