Foolish $7 Million Superbowl Bet

Gallery Furniture in Houston Texas ran a Superbowl promotion last month.  If you bought at least $6000 in furniture, and the Broncos lost, they'd refund the money, and you'd get to keep the furniture.  Since the Broncos did lose, it's going to cost the store about $7 million.  Owner, Jim McIngvale says he's happy for the publicity and that, quote, "In the long term, we made a lot of happy customers.  That's what it's all about...building customers for life."
