Where to Find Free Solar Eclipse Glasses in Minnesota!
Is your boss letting you have a half day on April 8th? I'm not sure if I'll be able to sneak out of the Y-105FM studio in Minnesota during the solar eclipse that afternoon but I'm hoping to catch a quick glimpse.

If you are planning to look outside at the solar eclipse, please know that you CAN NOT look at the solar eclipse directly. Special glasses or a device are needed to be used to see the spectacle in the sky. If you hurry, you can stop at one of these stores in Minnesota to grab a free pair of solar eclipse glasses.

FYI - If you can't get your hands on a pair of solar eclipse glasses before April 8th, you can make a pinhole projector. You can make this yourself and I've got instructions below.
According to Cnet.com, Warby Parker will be handing out free solar eclipse glasses starting April 1st while supplies last. Below are a few of their locations in Minnesota:

I've heard that some libraries also have some free solar eclipse glasses available. I wasn't able to find a list of those but it is worth giving your local library a call to find out.

How To Create A Pinhole Projector To View The Solar Eclipse
If you aren't able to find solar eclipse glasses, you can make a pinhole projector that will help your eyes stay safe during the viewing. A cereal box, white piece of paper, and a few other simple supplies are needed to make this solar masterpiece. See all of the instructions here.
