Today's Good News story comes from the UK...and is so cool! Sarah Ivermee is a mom in England. Her son Freddie is deaf in one ear, and has some hearing loss in the other. He uses a cochlear implant, but is insecure about it, and his mom didn't want him to feel self-conscious. So she created My Lugs, a line of decals that kids use to decorate their hearing aids or implants.  You can get everything from Batman and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles . . . to Hello Kitty and "Despicable Me" minions. And, of course, Frozen!

You can check 'em all out and buy them here.

Today's co-host, Danielle, visiting from Idaho, is a teacher at the Idaho School for the Deaf and Blind, and her students bling out their hearing aids, too...love the attitude that they're not something to hide.  Hearing aids are a part of who I am, and I'm glad to have 'em...and I love seeing students embrace 'em, too.
