Sandstone, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Minnesota State Patrol is calling attention to the heroics of three Good Samaritans who rescued a 67-year-old Canadian woman following a fiery traffic crash on I-35 in Pine County on Sunday.

Officials say the Thunder Bay woman was driving a SUV that caught fire after it went off the freeway near Sandstone and crashed into some trees. The woman was unable to get out of the vehicle on her own, but some passing motorists stopped and managed to extricate her from the SUV before it became engulfed in flames.

The Good the Samaritans were identified as Elissa and Josh Schnell, and Sean Kehren.
