Gordy’s Hi-Hat Postpones Opening Date Due To COVID-19
Those looking forward to eating at Gordy's Hi-Hat when they open for the season are going to have to wait a little bit longer. The Northland favorite has postponed their opening date due to COVID-19.
The restaurant was set to open on Thursday, March 19th. Now, they will open at a later date. They shared the sad news on their Facebook page, writing:
We are postponing the opening of our 60th season. We feel this is in the best interest of our customers, employees and community. A new opening date will be announced soon. Thank you!
As mentioned, there is no word on when they plan to reopen just yet. We will continue to keep you updated as we learn more.
The good news is you can still get a Gordy's fix. Gordy's Warming House is still open with a take-out and drive-thru option. The restaurant serves coffee, espresso, soups, salad, sandwiches and ice cream, among other delicious options. They are located at 411 Sunnyside Drive in Cloquet.
