Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester woman has pleaded guilty to a felony charge for stealing thousands of dollars from a person with Alzheimer’s disease living in a local senior care facility.

50-year-old Jennifer Krahn and her husband were charged last summer with taking about $30,000 from the victim’s bank account between August 2012 and last April. The criminal complaint against the couple says police were contacted by a family member of the victim who was suspicious of the couple, who had authorization to oversee the victim’s financial affairs.

Krahn admitted Thursday to a single count of Financial Exploitation of a Vulnerable Adult, while 3 other charges were dismissed through a plea agreement. She is scheduled to be sentenced in May.

Her husband, Michael, is scheduled to appear at an evidentiary hearing next month.
