Happy Birthday, Benicio Del Toro!

Today is Benicio Del Toro's 49th birthday!

Happy birthday to actor Benicio Del Toro! He turns 49 today. He won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for Traffic. He's been in License to Kill, The Usual Suspects, Wolf Man; and, he was just cast in the upcoming Star Wars 8, which is in theaters in something like eighteen, nineteen months from now, December 2017. He was also The Collector in Guardians of the Galaxy.

A couple of days ago there was a news item that Kurt Russell has been locked down to play Chris Pratt's father in the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel! Kurt Russell is going to be Star Lord's dad, when the film hits theaters, May of 2017! Guardians of the Galaxy is a Disney Marvel film, which means that Russell is back making Disney films. If you're like me, you might have grown up with The Strongest Man in the World and The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes. He was The Commander, aka Steve Stronghold in the 2005 Disney wacky comedy, Sky High.
