Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -The hot weather that has been reported in western states the last several days is headed this way.

It will be cool across southern Minnesota through Tuesday and then warmer and humid weather will begin moving into the region Thursday.

The National Weather Service says temperatures in southeastern Minnesota are expected to rise into the lower 90’s Friday and Saturday. High humidity could produce heat index readings in the middle and upper 90’s.

It appears the above-normal temperatures could linger into early next week, the final full week of spring.
