Help Make James Rabe a Pony for Halloween #mylittlepony

I need you to become DJ Pon-3 (Vinyl Scratch) for Halloween. Can you help? It's for a fourth grader and she will practically levitate with giggles and smiles if it happens. Here's the story...

I've mentioned on the air that my sweetie-pie, Danielle, teaches elementary in the Deaf/Hard of Hearing department of the Idaho School for the Deaf and Blind. Last year I spent some time reading to her elementary class, and got to know some of the students, and we all looked forward to Wednesday readings. Ponyo (a nickname for privacy issues) was quiet and kept to herself when I was around. Maybe even a little hostile.

Believe it or not, I'm used to that. As a big loud guy, kids don't always race up to me. But as the year went on, she warmed up to me, and when I moved back to Rochester, this third grader made the sweetest card for me and made me a pony. DJ Pon-3. Ponyo may be named after the amazing movie, but, it also fits her love of My Little Pony.

So much so, that making me a pony meant a lot to me and, so, DJ Pon-3 is in the studio with me every morning.

Since Ponyo became attached to me during my visits to the classroom, Danielle said we should make the effort to maintain a positive relationship, so the three of us video chat once a week. Just a quick 10-15 minute end of the school day chat.

The conversations are funny, lighthearted, and silly. On Monday we were talking about how everyone here at work is going to dress up a a Wizard of Oz  character, and Ponyo said that was boring,

I should dress up as DJ Pon-3 for Halloween, The minute she said it, I knew I had to make it happen. She will absolutely freak out when she sees the pictures.

Here's what I need: purple sunglasses, blue hair, a unicorn horn, ears, and maybe the tattoo. If you have ANY of the things I need, and would be willing to drop 'em off at the station before Friday afternoon, I'd love you forever! Plus, you can have 'em back!
