The Minnesota State Fair might be canceled this year, but there's still a way you can feel like you're still at the fairgrounds in Falcon Heights this summer.

It's been a LONG time since the Minnesota State Fair was canceled. In fact, you have to go all the way back to 1946, during World War II, to find the last time Minnesotans didn't gather for 12 days of fun, frivolity and fried food at the Fair. But then, along came the great coronavirus pandemic of 2020 and, boom, the Great Minnesota Get-Together joined the long list of summer traditions that are taking the year off.

However, the Minnesota State Fair has a way for you to still get your drink on as if you were up at the Fair itself this year: Imagine yourself enjoying your favorite beverage there in your backyard from a Minnesota State Fair cup. Well, you don't have to imagine it anymore. Because now you can buy your own familiar clear plastic cups with the familiar Minnesota State Fair logo on them for use at home.

According to the State Fair website, the Fair started sleeves of those plastic cups at their office in Falcon Heights last Friday, and will continue to sell them (while supplies last) on Tuesday and Fridays through July. (And, yes, they're even recyclable!)

Pricing
$12 for a sleeve of 50 12 oz. cups
$14 for a sleeve of 50 16 oz. cups
$16 for a sleeve of 50 20 oz. cups

Sales tax included. Limit two sleeves per person. Note: Cups are recyclable. These cups are the same State Fair cups used by vendors each year and are not dated.

Payment
Cash or check only. Make checks payable to “Minnesota State Fair.”
